August can be a bitter sweet time in West MI.  We take our short but gorgeous summers very seriously.  Every year in August we begin to notice the air is cooler in the morning and the dew hangs on our windshields a little longer.  We have been warned, the end of summer is upon us.  Time to make the most of our last bits of warmth and sunshine before they are chased away but blustery fall days.  Here are some ideas to make the most of the rest of summer!

The Kent County Youth Fair is happening in Lowell this weekend (8/8-8/13).  Watch young Exhibitors show of their skill and dedication to farming.  Visit for more information.
